The Utility Services Department manages the water, sewer and sanitation billing as well as commercial sanitation requests. The Utility Services Department is often referred to as the Water Department because we process the applications to establish water service.
Where We Are Located
The Utility Services Department is to your left when you enter the front doors of Smyrna City Hall (2800 King St SE, Smyrna GA 30080). After entering the Human Resources / Utility Services door, proceed to the right down the hallway to the service windows on the left. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
We also have a convenient drive up payment window for water/sewer and sanitation bills, as well as property taxes and business licenses. The entrance to the drive up window is located behind City Hall. Take Stephens or Bank Street to access the drive-up window off Village Walk. Drive-up window hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please have your bill with you to facilitate a smoother transaction.
A night drop is located just beyond the drive-up window and, unlike its name, is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Alternatively, you may choose to Pay your Water/Sanitation Bill Online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please note that beginning in March of 2015, online credit card payments, through a new processor, includes a convenience fee. Currently, when paying a water bill by credit card online, you are charged a $1.95 convenience fee. The fee does not apply to automatic bank draft, does not apply when you use your personal bank's online bill pay, does not apply for mailed payment, and does not apply for payments made at the Utility Services office at City Hall (2800 King Street, Smyrna Ga 30080).
