Maryline Blackburn - Ward 3 - First elected 2017
A 31-year resident of Georgia, Maryline Blackburn has enjoyed making her home in the Huntington Trace Neighborhood of Smyrna for the last 17 years. In addition to her election to the Smyrna City Council, Blackburn’s community advocacy includes serving on the Smyrna Vision Initiative Steering Committee and as a board member on the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation. She also dedicates her time to many other community organizations including National Kidney Foundation, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, and Life Link.
Born in Europe to a close-knit military family, Maryline spent her formative years in Fairbanks, Alaska and graduated from Evergreen State College, in Olympia, Washington, with a degree in business administration/management. Maryline has applied her business abilities and musical talents in the entertainment industry for 25 years. She is the CEO of the acclaimed non-profit philanthropic organization, Divas With A Cause and is a two-time Grammy ballot nominated recording artist, having performed extensively in the United States and internationally with organizations such as the Department of Defense and the USO.
